The 3D and 2D graphical displays in both of the games are bearable but there comes a noticeable improvement for the asphalt 9. But the large resolution sometimes increases the chances of lagging errors in the video game. Since errors are very rare, enjoying asphalt 9 is a good play.

It is the purplish nitro booster action in the air that boosts the speed of the vehicles. This model is specifically associated with Asphalt 9. Asphalt 8 does not have the nitro boosters

Vehicles:

The number of vehicles in asphalt 8 is far more than that of asphalt 9. The asphalt 8 collects a huge variety of 306 vehicles. On the other hand, the asphalt 9 carries a splendid variety of 175 as a result of the latest update in July 2022. The older version had an even lesser number of vehicles.

In-Game Clubs:

The club is the association that keeps the players bound in-game and helps them interact with each other. Asphalt 8 does not have any clubs installed yet. But asphalt 9 has the club’s facility and up to 20 members( players) can join them at a time.

The routes in asphalt 9 are much more realistic and dangerous, appetizing enough to race and compete as compared to asphalt 8. The routes in asphalt 8 are less close to reality and nature.

The older version that is asphalt 8 does not have a variety of gameplay types except single and multiplayer modes. The multiplayer mode is even better because there you may choose your opponent online from the list of players. But Asphalt 9 does not support any multiplayer mode. Instead, it holds four different game types:

Each has the plus points that the other lacks.  However, if one wants to play more in the circle of multiplayer racing games, he should prefer asphalt 8. But if one wants a variety of advanced single-player racing games, he must choose asphalt 9.
